East Indian/South Asian Women

If it’s one thing that you should get from reading my blog by now, it’s that when it comes to my taste in women, genuineness ranks right at the top of the desirable traits list. I want a woman who is happy with her looks. Someone who doesn’t feel the need to alter her appearance. No contacts. No weave. No breast augmentation. Just natural beauty. If she is happy with herself, then I will make me doubly happy. That’s because I don’t want to change anyone. I won’t even feel the urge to change her. As Billy Joel says, “I Love You Just The Way You Are”.

Some of you may feel that this allusive female doesn’t exist. That I need a reality check because no one is perfect. While it is true that no one is perfect; I firmly believe that there are people in this world perfect for each other. Mates who find attributes in one another so right, that the person is everything they want. Over the years, I’ve noticed there is one group of women that I have developed a strong physical attraction too. That is women of East Indian/South Asian decent. If there is one ethnic group of women that makes the cut for me, it is them. Damn it, those are some FINE females! Before you all scream, I know that not all Asian Indians look the same. Just like Black folks, some look damn near white. Others are darker than most members of my family. Yet, there is something about the medium brown and darker complexioned Indians that does it for me.

Is it me, or do South Asian women have a mixture of all the best racial physical attributes? Brown skin. Full lips.

Long hair. Let me rephrase…long JET BLACK hair. I’m a sucker for a pretty face. I’ve seen some Asian Indian chicks with faces and smiles that would make even the hardest person swoon. Some of the females have slim builds, no doubt…

But the ones with the curvaceous bodies can stop traffic with their beauty. I’m talking about boobs and booty!

And what is it about their eyes?

Hell, some of them even have gray eyes.

But it’s the dark eyes I like.

The shit is almost hypnotic. Mysterious eyes. It’s like looking at ancient Egyptian art.

It’s been said that eyes are the windows to the soul. Well, I think I a few of these chicks have seen straight through to my soul.

The first taste of Indian beauty I got was back in high school. I’ll call her “Dream”. Dream was probably the prettiest thing I had seen in my life up to that point. I had never seen a girl with features like that. During those four years we never really got close. We were acquaintances by the 12th grade, but hardly close friends. The most I got to know her was sitting next to her in a senior year class. I don’t know how I got that lucky desk next to her. I was happy as fuck, though. LOL. I would stare at her sexy brown legs. Needless to say, my mind was elsewhere during that class. We bumped into each a few times after graduation. Small talk conversions. The usual “how have you been?” and “what’s new in your life?”. Reunion has come and gone. Once again the conversation was focused on life. It was good to see her again. She still looked incredible. I kept my feelings low key. She’s one of the few females who has no clue that I had such a big crush on her. See, back in high school, I had not grown a set of balls yet, lol. I still lacked the courage to approach women. By college, that changed. I built up the courage, but just kept getting shot down. Anyway, to this day, Dream doesn’t know that I had a crush on her. Let alone, know how much meeting her has shaped my attraction to woman in general.

Besides Dream, my other impressions of Indian women came from movie and television. One of my earliest memories was seeing the film, “Mississippi Masala”. It starred Denzel Washington and Sarita Chourdhury.

I was mesmerized by her looks. I knew I wanted a female that looked like that. Seeing her in those steamy scenes in Kama Sutra only hightened my attraction to her. More recently, Parminder Nagra looked great in Bend It Like Beckham. Parminder is so sexy!! I was hurt to see she had cut her hair for her role on ER.

The 40 Year-Old Virgin is one of my favorite movies of all time. Fucking Classic. Mindy Kaling was the looked so good in that movie as Amy. I wish her role in the film was bigger. The more camera time for her, the better!! I understand why David was so distraught over their break up. I’m glad she’s on The Office. You talk about “dark and lovely”…

Now Norah Jones complexion is no where close to Mindy Kaling’s. I know she is only half-Indian. However, those intriguing features are still there. Her eyes. Her Lips. Her curves. Alluring.

This one is my favorite. It captures all of her beauty.

In this blog I’ve used the terms “Indian” and “South Asian” interchangeably. I know its not exactly the same, but the ladies from that region share similar features. So I’m talking about beautiful woman from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc. Some of you may be familiar with M.I.A. She a Sri Lankan female emcee with skills. This woman is hitting on all cylinders. Absolutely gorgeous. What? Sri Lankan and a hip-hop head? They just don’t make them like that over here, I swear.

Coveting a South Asian woman is one thing. Actually getting the time of day from one, is an entirely different ball game. Of course, the new immigrants are intimidated by this American culture so foreign to them. I can cut them some slack. But, you got those Americanized females who have been swayed by negative perceptions of Black men. The ones I’ve encountered have had suburban upbringings. Their contact with Black people is limited. They tend to stick to dating within their ethnic group. When they do venture out to dating men of other ethnicities, it is usually a White guy. Occasionally one will date a guy of East Asian heritage. For example, Japanese or Chinese. But a Black guy has a better chance of getting the time of day from a dog than from an Indian female. That shit upsets me. Yes, there are cultural differences. But shit, I’m talking about AMERICAN females here. I’m American. I find it hard to believe that these females can live in a vacuum totally negated from Black culture. Positive Black images. When you really think about it. Research it. You find there are much more similarities between the cultures than disparities. Especially in terms of dance, music and the arts. I can only speak from my own experiences. Maybe in other parts of the country it’s different. But I’ve had limited luck with getting the attention of these females I am so attracted too. And when I do get their notice it often ends up with an all expenses paid trip to the Friend Zone.

Lakshmi is the Indian Goddess of Beauty. And to me, South Asian woman are the epitome of beauty. Hopefully one day my goddess will find me.
